Shipping Policy
SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: [DATE]
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with [STORE NAME] through [WEBSITE].
We currently ship within Australia only.
This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. WHERE WE DELIVER
We currently deliver to addresses within Australia only.
This includes:
New South Wales;
Victoria;
Queensland;
Western Australia;
South Australia;
Tasmania;
Australian Capital Territory; and
Northern Territory.
Delivery to some remote or regional locations may be subject to additional delivery charges, carrier restrictions or longer delivery times.
We currently do not offer international shipping.
2. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Shipping costs may depend on:
delivery location;
parcel weight;
parcel dimensions;
product type;
selected delivery method;
whether the product is classified as bulky or oversized; and
any carrier restrictions applying to the product.
Where we offer free or discounted shipping, any applicable conditions will be displayed on our website or as part of the relevant promotion.
3. ORDER PROCESSING
We aim to process in-stock orders as quickly as reasonably possible.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, orders are generally processed within [1–2 business days] after payment has been successfully received.
Orders placed on weekends or Australian/New South Wales public holidays will generally begin processing on the next business day.
During major sales, promotions, product launches, holiday periods or periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take longer.
Processing time is separate from the carrier's delivery time.
4. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
Estimated delivery times depend on your location and the shipping service selected.
As a general guide:
Metro areas: approximately [2–5 business days]
Regional areas: approximately [3–7 business days]
Remote areas: approximately [5–10+ business days]
These timeframes are estimates only unless we have expressly agreed to or guaranteed a particular delivery date.
Delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, weather events, natural disasters, road closures, peak delivery periods and other disruptions.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law where goods are not supplied within an agreed or reasonable period.
5. EXPRESS SHIPPING
Where available, Express Shipping may be offered during checkout.
Selecting Express Shipping generally means that your order will be sent using an express delivery service.
It does not necessarily mean that your order will be processed or dispatched on the same day.
Our normal order-processing times continue to apply unless otherwise stated.
Express services may also be unavailable for certain:
remote locations;
bulky products;
oversized products;
dangerous goods; or
products subject to carrier restrictions.
6. ORDER TRACKING
Where tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address or other contact details associated with your order after dispatch.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after the parcel has been collected or lodged with the carrier.
Once tracking is available, customers can use the carrier's tracking service to monitor delivery progress.
7. SHIPPING CARRIERS
We may use Australia Post and/or other Australian courier and freight providers depending on:
your location;
product dimensions;
product weight;
product type;
delivery service selected; and
carrier availability.
We may select an appropriate carrier for an order where a specific carrier has not been selected or guaranteed during checkout.
8. PO BOXES AND PARCEL LOCKERS
We may be able to deliver eligible products to Australian PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers.
However, some courier services, bulky products, oversized products and restricted goods cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.
Where a product cannot be delivered to the supplied PO Box or Parcel Locker, we may contact you to request a suitable street address.
9. BULKY AND OVERSIZED PRODUCTS
Some motorcycle parts and accessories may be classified as bulky or oversized.
Examples may include:
exhaust systems;
fairings;
windscreens;
motorcycle stands;
large luggage systems;
bodywork;
workshop equipment; and
other large or unusually shaped products.
Additional freight charges may apply to these products.
Where possible, applicable shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.
If an automated shipping calculation is unavailable or materially incorrect for a particularly large or unusual shipment, we may contact you before dispatch to discuss available delivery options.
We will not impose additional shipping charges after purchase without your agreement. If we cannot reasonably fulfil the order using the shipping amount paid, you may choose not to proceed and receive a refund for the affected order.
10. BATTERIES AND DANGEROUS GOODS
Certain motorcycle products may be classified as dangerous or restricted goods for transportation purposes.
These may include certain:
motorcycle batteries;
lithium batteries;
battery packs;
aerosols;
chemicals;
lubricants; and
other regulated products.
Carrier restrictions may limit where or how these products can be shipped.
Express or air transport may not be available for certain restricted goods.
Where applicable, these products may need to be transported using an approved road or dangerous-goods service.
This may result in longer delivery times or additional shipping restrictions.
11. MULTIPLE-PARCEL ORDERS
An order may occasionally be dispatched in more than one parcel.
This may occur where:
products are stored at different locations;
an order contains bulky and standard-sized products;
products require different shipping methods; or
splitting the shipment allows us to fulfil the order more efficiently.
Where tracking is available, you may receive separate tracking information for each parcel.
Receiving one parcel does not necessarily mean that your entire order has been delivered.
12. SPLIT SHIPMENTS
Where some products in your order are available before others, we may offer or use split shipment where appropriate.
We will not charge additional shipping fees for a split shipment initiated solely by us unless you have agreed to those additional charges.
13. PRE-ORDER AND BACKORDER PRODUCTS
Products identified as Pre-Order, Backorder, Special Order or similar may have longer processing and dispatch times.
Any estimated availability or dispatch date shown on the product page is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where an order contains both in-stock and pre-order/backorder products, we may:
hold the order until all products are available; or
dispatch available products separately.
The approach may depend on the products and shipping method involved.
Where a significant delay occurs, we will endeavour to provide updated information and any rights available to you under applicable Australian law will continue to apply.
14. DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address during checkout.
Please check your:
recipient name;
street address;
suburb;
state;
postcode; and
contact information
before completing your order.
If you notice an error after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL].
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been dispatched.
15. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address, the parcel may be returned to us by the carrier.
Once the parcel has been returned, we may contact you to arrange redelivery.
Where the delivery failure resulted from incorrect information supplied by the customer, reasonable additional shipping charges may apply before the order is resent.
This does not apply where the delivery problem resulted from an error made by us or a carrier for which we are responsible.
16. AUTHORITY TO LEAVE
Some carriers may offer Authority to Leave, Safe Drop or a similar unattended delivery service.
Where you specifically authorise a carrier to leave a parcel without obtaining a signature, the parcel may be left at the nominated location in accordance with the carrier's procedures.
Please ensure that any nominated delivery location is reasonably secure and suitable for receiving your order.
Any allocation of risk associated with an Authority to Leave service remains subject to applicable Australian law.
Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
17. SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY
Some orders may require a signature on delivery.
We may require signature delivery for certain:
high-value orders;
motorcycle helmets;
expensive motorcycle components;
electronics; or
other products where we consider additional delivery security appropriate.
If nobody is available to accept the delivery, the carrier may leave instructions for redelivery or collection.
18. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
Where a carrier attempts delivery but nobody is available, the carrier may:
attempt delivery again;
leave the parcel at an authorised safe location;
take the parcel to a collection point;
take the parcel to a post office or depot; or
return the parcel to us.
The available options depend on the carrier and delivery service.
Customers should follow the carrier's tracking information and delivery instructions.
19. UNCOLLECTED OR RETURNED PARCELS
If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected from a post office, depot or collection point within the carrier's required timeframe, we may contact you to arrange redelivery.
Reasonable additional shipping charges may apply where the return resulted from the customer's failure to collect the parcel.
Alternatively, where appropriate, you may request cancellation and a refund of the returned products, subject to our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and your rights under Australian law.
20. LOST PARCELS
If your tracking information indicates an unusual delay or you believe your parcel has been lost, please contact us at:
[CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL]
We may contact the carrier and lodge an investigation.
Please allow a reasonable period for the carrier to investigate the delivery.
We will not require you to resolve a lost-parcel claim solely with the carrier where we remain responsible for providing the goods under applicable Australian law.
Where a parcel is confirmed lost, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your rights under Australian law.
21. DAMAGED PARCELS
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.
Where possible, please provide:
your order number;
photographs of the outer packaging;
photographs of the shipping label;
photographs of the damaged product; and
a description of the damage.
Please retain the product and packaging while we investigate the issue.
Depending on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement or refund.
22. MISSING ITEMS
If an item is missing from your delivery, please check whether your order has been sent in multiple parcels.
If all parcels have been delivered and an item is still missing, please contact:
[CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL]
Please provide your order number and details of the missing product.
We will investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy where necessary.
23. INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a product different from the product you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.
Please do not install or use an incorrectly supplied motorcycle part once you become aware that it is not the product ordered.
Where we have supplied the wrong product, we will arrange an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable costs associated with returning and replacing the incorrectly supplied product.
24. DELIVERY DELAYS
Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed because of circumstances such as:
extreme weather;
floods or bushfires;
natural disasters;
road closures;
carrier network disruptions;
industrial action;
public holidays;
peak Christmas and holiday periods;
major sales events;
regional or remote delivery conditions; or
other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to assist with delayed deliveries where appropriate.
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights where an order is not delivered within an agreed timeframe or, where no timeframe was agreed, within a reasonable time.
25. ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where the order has not been dispatched or committed to a non-cancellable special order, we will generally attempt to cancel it.
We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered the dispatch process.
If the order has already been dispatched, it may need to be returned under our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation rights available under Australian law.
26. CLICK & COLLECT
If we offer Click & Collect, the option will be displayed during checkout or on the relevant product page.
Customers should wait until they receive confirmation that their order is ready before attending the collection location.
Photo identification and/or proof of order may be required before an order is released.
If Click & Collect is not displayed as an available option, the order must be shipped using one of our available delivery services.
27. SHIPPING PROMOTIONS
From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping promotions.
Promotions may be subject to conditions such as:
minimum order value;
eligible products;
eligible delivery locations;
maximum parcel dimensions or weight;
promotional period; or
selected shipping methods.
Any conditions will be disclosed with the relevant promotion.
Bulky, oversized or restricted products may be excluded from some shipping promotions where this is clearly disclosed.
28. AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING ONLY
At this time, [STORE NAME] only ships within Australia.
We do not currently ship orders internationally.
Orders placed using an international delivery address may be cancelled and refunded.
Customers outside Australia should not arrange freight forwarding without contacting us first.
We are not responsible for additional risks, costs or restrictions associated with independently arranged international freight forwarding except to the extent required by law.
29. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy provided by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where this policy is inconsistent with a mandatory right under Australian law, the mandatory right will prevail.
