Supertech R10
$1,399.00
Developed over a decade, the Supertech R10 Solid Helmet is Alpinestars’ most advanced race helmet for road and track, engineered for protection, aerodynamic efficiency, and low weight. ECE 22.06, DOT and FIM certified, it combines a carbon composite shell, eight-piece EPS, CFD-tested aerodynamics, an Optical Class 1 visor and an 11‑vent layout to deliver stability, wide vision and cooling, while the A‑Head system fine‑tunes fit for long‑ride comfort.
Includes: two shields (one dark and one clear), a Standard spoiler, a drawstring bag

Construction
Carbon shell construction: multi-layer composite of 3K high-density carbon, uni-directional carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass bonded with epoxy resin for controlled deflection and penetration resistance; approx. 1,540 g (size M).
Certified to: ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM standards.
A-Head fitment system: internal crown carrier with adjustable height and angle; four outer shell sizes with corresponding inner shell/EPS sizes for precise scaling.
Aerodynamic shell components: CFD- and wind-tunnel-developed profile with lateral winglets, surface turbulators, and interchangeable Road and Race rear spoilers on patented release mounts.
Ventilation architecture: 11-port layout with 7 intakes (3 in the chin guard, 4 on top) and 4 exhaust outlets integrated with internal channeling.
Shield system: Optical Class 1 visor with anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings, metal central locking mechanism, and quick-release, tool-less base plates; 220° lateral and 57° vertical aperture.
Energy-management liner: eight-piece multi-density EPS with six specific densities and a polished low-friction inner surface coating; expanded polypropylene (EPP) reinforcement in the chin bar.
Protection
Eight-piece, six-density EPS liner with a low-friction coating for optimized impact energy absorption and rotational force management.
Enhanced chin bar protection with a raised profile and an EPP liner extending beyond the shell, covered by a flexible rubber compound, to reduce the risk of collarbone injury.
Patented Impact Management Technology: polished, low-friction inner surface allows independent head movement to reduce transmitted rotational impact forces.
Emergency Cheek Pad Release System enables safe helmet removal by trackside medical teams.
Multi-layer composite shell engineered to disperse impact energy, provide penetration resistance, and deliver controlled shell deflection for protection at speed.
Certified protection performance: ECE 22.06, DOT, and FIM certified; exceeds standard impact benchmarks by 37% (linear) and 65% (rotational).
Aerodynamic stability features, including lateral winglets and turbulators, help maintain protective alignment at high speeds.
Optical Class 1 visor with anti-fog/anti-scratch treatments, metal locking mechanism for secure closure, and a wide 220° lateral/57° vertical field of view for enhanced situational awareness.
Key Features
Impact liner architecture: Multi‑zone energy absorption with a glide‑enhancing inner treatment helps reduce rotational strain on the head.
Collarbone‑clearing chin bar profile: Raised lower edge with a softer liner insert minimizes hard‑edge contact to help protect the clavicle.
Proprietary energy‑management surface finish: A mirror‑smooth inner interface decouples head and helmet motion to limit torsional forces during impacts.
Quick‑release cheek pads: Pull tabs enable rapid, safer helmet removal by trackside medical personnel.
